Hartford Democratic Town Committee Primary Scheduled For Tuesday

HARTFORD —

The Democratic town committee primary is scheduled for Tuesday. The election involves the 4th, 5th and 7th districts, each having two challenge slates.

In the 4th District, the slate of Edwin Escribano, Homayra Gomez, Migdalia Gomez, Jose U. Morales, Willie C. Owens, Apolinar Rosario-Tirado, Luz V. Sullivan, Elvis R. Tejada and Sammy Vazquez will occupy the top row of the ballot.

Frederick Anderson, Ralph Arena, Sean P. Arena, Andre Caban, Gloria Pimentel, Kelvin Roldan, Scott Edward Santucci, Barbara Silva and Edison Silva will occupy the second row.

In the 5th District, the slate of W. Michael Downes, Juanita M. Giles, Glendowlyn Hall, Ashley J. Johnson, Joseph L. Martinez, Brandon L. McGee, Jr., Charles F. Oxley, Paul M. Ritter, Olga Iris Vazquez, Radames V. Vazquez, Charlene Williams and Ludella Perry Williams will occupy the top row.

Mamie M. Bell, Alffe Blake, Donald S. Brown, Jr., Julio A. Concepcion, Eric Crawford, Marc A. Dibella, Steven M. Harris, Georgiana E. Holloway, Marie Lopez Kirkley-Bey, Frank Xavier Sentner, Clorinda Soldevila and Rebecca A. Wareing's slate will occupy the second row.

In the 7th District, the slate of Paul Basch, Karen Cato, Darrell S. Garner, Carl Hardrick, Prenzina Raines Holloway, Shawn R. Holloway, Douglas McCrory, Naomi Crawford McKoy, Judith A. Pegram, Shirley A. Surgeon, Donna Thompson-Daniel, Louis Watkins, Jr. and Andrew Woods will occupy the top row.

Helen Boutte, Jacqueline Baskin Bryant, Yvonne Daniels, Douglas J. Green and Nicki A. Webster's slate will occupy the second row.

Polling places in the 4th District are: the Campfield Public Library, 30 Campfield Ave.; Bulkeley High School, 300 Wethersfield Ave.; the Learning Corridor, 43 Vernon St.; and Betances Elementary School, 42 Charter Oak Ave.

Polls in the 5th District are: Hartford Public Library, 500 Main St.; the Community Room, 280 Sigourney St.; America's Choice at SAND School, 1750 Main St.; Clark School, 75 Clark St.; and Wish School, 350 Barbour St.

Polls in the 7th District are: Grace Lutheran Church, 46 Woodland St.; Liberty Christian Center, 23 Vine St.; Rawson School, 260 Holcomb St.

The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Anyone wishing to register to vote in the primary has until noon today to do so in the Democratic Registrar of Voters office, 550 Main St.
