It looks like Susan McMullen will be staying on as chief of staff to Mayor Eddie A. Perez.
McMullen told Cityline that the "acting" is to be removed from her title as "acting" chief of staff to the mayor. She took the job earlier this summer following the resignation of Matt Hennessy.
"I appreciate the Mayor's confidence in me and look forward to serving the City of Hartford in this new capacity," McMullen said.
"It's a pleasure working with Susan McMullen," said David Panagore, the city's chief operating officer. "She brings care, concern and humor to what is often an impersonal operation."
McMullen currently makes $112,000 annually. She will make $115,400 in her new job, she said.
