For the third time in a month, the accusations of impropriety in the run up to the Democratic town committee are flying.
This time a challenge slate for the 5th district is suing the city's Democratic registrar of voters, who just happens to be on the opposing slate.
The plaintiffs allege that Olga Vazquez accepted and submitted incomplete signatures petitions in violation of state statute. They are seeking to have the petitions in question thrown out and Vazquez' slate thrown out of the March election.
The suit follows two earlier complaints filed with the state Elections Enforcement Commission. Read all about it on line and in print Thursday.
