HARTFORD, Conn. -- Police were investigating an incident in which a seventh grade boy brought a gun to school.

Four students at Naylor School were questioned by police Monday after one boy brought a gun to school. Officials locked down the building down for more than an hour.

During a search of the school while it was locked down, police discovered a handgun and a clip of ammunition in different locations.

The gun was not loaded, no shots were fired, and no one was injured or threatened, police said.

Police said one of the four boys admitted bringing the gun to school. The other three students were being questioned to see if they were aware that the boy had brought the gun to school and had not informed anyone about it, school officials said
