Districts Not Meeting No Child Left Behind Standards

A look at Connecticut school districts not making adequate yearly progress under the federal No Child Left Behind education reform law. The law puts schools on a timeline to make all students proficient in reading and math.
Districts must demonstrate improving performance for all students on the Connecticut Academic Performance Test and Connecticut Mastery Tests to make adequate yearly progress in meeting the law.
