Plaza Mayor Is Finished

The Hartford Redevelopment Authority put Plaza Mayor out of its four-year misery last night.

The vote was unanimous, according to Chief Operating Officer David Panagore. The original plans were for retail, high-end housing, and a main square at the intersection of Park and Main Streets.

Panagore said the city has no immediate plans for the vacant parcels. At left, an original rendering of what could have been.
