Capital Grille To Open Sept. 9 At Front Street

The Capital Grille will open at Front Street in Hartford on Sept. 9, the upscale steakhouse chain said Wednesday.

The Capital Grille is the second venue to open at Front Street. Last year, Spotlight Theatres Inc. opened a four-screen movie theater.

Other signed tenants include Infinity Music Hall & Bistro, whose space is now under construction with an expected opening in the spring. Last month, Front Street developer HB Nitkin Group said it had signed a third tenant, Ted's Montana Grill, also opening in the spring.

The Capital Grille will be able to seat 239 guests in the main dining room and three private dining rooms. The restaurant also will include a lounge that opens up to a covered outdoor patio. Capital Grille also will offer private wine locker membership.
