Butt Ugly Building Demolition Begins Wednesday By Jenna Carlesso October 25, 2010 The city will begin to knock down the infamous "Butt Ugly Building" on Main Street this Wednesday at 4 p.m. The demolition method will be a claw, according to city spokeswoman Sarah Barr. Preparation for the demolition began in September. The city council approved it in August. Barr said the building is expected to be completely torn down by mid-November.
